Both plans, both prices, one page.
You called about the Tidewater and the Clarkson and asked to walk them before deciding. Everything you need before that visit is right here — no digging through emails.
Toni, here's where things stand.
When we talked, you were weighing two plans against each other rather than shopping a long list. That's the right way to do it — comparing two real options is a lot easier than comparing ten.
Since that call, two things changed that affect your decision: the Clarkson was adjusted to $324,990, and the price on 1162 Mountain Ridge Rd came down $10,000. Both are below.
Take a look before you come out. Then come with questions — that's what the visit is for.
Plan one
The Tidewater
The first plan you asked about. Floor plans are hard to judge on paper, so here's what to actually pay attention to when you walk it:
- How the main level flows from the entry to the kitchen to the living space — that's the path you'll walk a dozen times a day.
- Where the everyday drop zone is: keys, bags, shoes, mail. Homes that handle this well stay cleaner without any extra effort.
- Whether the bedroom layout matches how you actually want to live — separation vs. everyone on one level.
- Storage you'd use, not storage that just looks good in photos.
Plan two
The Clarkson
Now $324,990
This is the adjusted price we sent over, and it's the number to compare against as you weigh the two plans side by side.
The layout is here so you can look it over ahead of time — but a plan on paper only tells you so much. When you walk the Clarkson right after the Tidewater, the differences show up fast. Pay attention to which one felt easier to move through, not just which one looked better. That instinct is usually right.
1162 Mountain Ridge Rd
Worth a look while you're deciding between plans. The price on this home came down $10,000, and it's an available home rather than a build — which changes your timeline and takes most of the selection decisions off your plate.
If your priority is getting into the right home sooner rather than choosing every finish, this is the one to walk while you're out.
Things to Know Before Your Visit
Short answers to what most buyers ask us the week before a visit.
Give yourself about an hour. Walking two plans back to back takes longer than people expect, and the comparison only works if you're not rushing the second one.
Bring whoever is part of the decision. It's much harder to describe a floor plan later than it is to walk it together the first time.
No. You don't need anything in place to walk homes and ask questions. If you want to talk through numbers while you're here, we can — but there's no requirement and no pressure to.
Just let us know using the form below and we'll move it. We'd rather reschedule than have you squeeze it in.
Pricing and homesite availability do change. If anything moves on the Clarkson, the Tidewater, or 1162 Mountain Ridge Rd, you'll hear it from us directly — not from a listing update you stumble across later.
Three questions: Where will everyone actually spend their time? What would annoy me about this layout in year three? And does the price match what I'm getting? If a plan answers all three well, that's your answer.
Your visit
You're set to walk both the Tidewater and the Clarkson. We'll reach out by call or text the Thursday before to confirm, so you're not left guessing.
If your schedule shifts between now and then, use the form and we'll adjust it. And if there's something specific you want pulled up before you arrive — pricing on a particular homesite, a plan comparison, monthly payment estimates — tell us here and we'll have it ready instead of tracking it down while you wait.
One request: walk them in the order we planned, back to back. Seeing the second plan while the first one is still fresh is what makes the difference obvious.
